About the track
**STEEL BRONCO** is a cinematic military rock tribute to my Uncle Lomas Rishee “Ron” Sharma and his extraordinary service during the Vietnam War. In 1971, at just 19 years old, Lomas was shot down twice during combat operations in a single day. He returned to the fight and went back into the air a third time to complete the mission. His courage was recognised with the **Distinguished Flying Cross** and the **Air Medal with “V” device for Valor**. “Steel Bronco” takes that story and turns it into a collision of **Dark Americana, heartland rock and cinematic military western** — the story of a young cowboy trading one saddle for another and riding a machine of steel into war. **When a cowboy gets sent to war… Hell shakes.** This song and music video are dedicated to **Lomas Rishee “Ron” Sharma** and to the men who served alongside him. --- **STEEL BRONCO** Written as a tribute to Lomas Rishee “Ron” Sharma. 1971. 19 years old.
